The Beach Family

Like a lot of Limousin breeders, the D-M Beach story began in the late 1970's as a stocker operation. Don and Margy Beach, along with sons Don Jr., Mark, and Mike would buy stockers in the spring, run them all summer, then sell in the fall. In the early 1980's a group of red heifers stood out above the rest. They grew better, had more muscle, and were far more efficient. The local salebarn explained that they were a new breed, called Limousin. The more the breed was researched, the more impressed they became. In the fall, all the calves left, except those great red heifers. They joined the North American Limousin Foundation in 1984, and progressively grew while never sacrificing quality. The operation is presently ran by Mark and Carla Beach, Cody Beach, and Chad and Katy Herman. Over the years, we have remembered what our logo "Quality Where It Counts!" really means. We continue to be committed to cattle that excell in the pasture, feedlot, and show ring. Take a look around, and feel free to contact us with any questions or comments, we would love to hear them.

Thanks
